This event will bring together experts to discuss and develop innovative solutions for more inclusive societies.

On September 23rd, the Polytechnic City of Innovation in Valencia will be the meeting point for the V International Social Innovation Forum. Organized by Jovesólides as part of the Creactiva School, this event will bring together professionals and experts to examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is influencing social inclusion. This is an opportunity to explore how technology can address specific social problems and generate positive changes in our communities.

In recent years, AI has become a key tool for tackling a variety of scientific and technological problems. But can it also be a tool to help us solve social issues?

The fifth edition of the International Social Innovation Forum will focus on how AI can be applied to challenges such as political polarization, active aging, the climate crisis, and access to housing. More than just a discussion space, the event is dedicated to exploring innovative methods that integrate AI into practical and effective solutions for these challenges.

Artificial Intelligence and Social Challenges

Through a comprehensive program, the V International Social Innovation Forum will highlight the role of AI in solving important social problems. For example:

  • Political Polarization: Can AI support social innovation to address the challenges of polarization, political disengagement, and the impact of misinformation and hate speech? Strategies and successful cases where governments, companies, and civil society organizations have used AI to revitalize civic engagement and strengthen democratic stability will be explored.
  • Active Aging: Can technology be useful in combating unwanted loneliness and improving the mental health and well-being of older people? Innovations in elderly care and how AI can promote active and healthy aging through business projects and policies will be discussed.
  • Climate Crisis: How is AI being applied to tackle climate change and promote environmental justice? Initiatives addressing the energy crisis, sustainability, and natural disaster management will be presented, highlighting the importance of inclusive and sustainable solutions.
  • Access to Housing: Can the use of AI help improve access to decent housing and reduce social inequalities? Strategies to combat gentrification, improve public services, and promote urban-rural equity will be discussed, highlighting the positive impact of these initiatives on quality of life.
