Xosé Ramil is a sociologist and a journalist who has been experimenting with technology since the 90s to achieve ways of communication based on citizen participation.

He started in Grupo PRISA, when digital portals where expected to be galaxies on the Internet, he then continued in Fundación Hazloposible and in Ingeniería Sin Fronteras, where he undertook several social communication projects.

He currently works at the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre (Technical University of Madrid), provides consulting services and organises workshops on crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, digital communication, and mobilization tools.

He believes this “other possible world” is in the commons.
