Samuel García, a technician at the Service for Migrants, and Silvia Acosta, Specialist in Knowledge Management and Transfer, will talk to us about Barrios por el Empleo, a project that works to improve employability. It focuses mainly on people at risk of social exclusion or already suffering it. It is implemented in Tenerife, with focal points (node) distributed along the island.

Given the influx of migrants in the project, in 2018 the Information and Guidance Service for Migrants was created in order to respond to the specific needs of the collective. This project is a firm commitment to provide specialised counselling by a multi-disciplinary team in the social and legal fields, immigration, human rights, administration, social issues, labour, etc.
