Pikara Magazine is a digital magazine for the dissemination of feminist theories and practices, which incorporates the gender perspective in their reflections on the journalistic work carried out by the media. The project was started in 2010 by the association EME Komunikazioa. It was founded by Basque journalists Itziar Abad, June Fernández Casete, Lucía Martínez Odriozola y Maite Asensio.
