Matthias Schulze-Böing is graduate in Sociology from the University of Berlin. Until 1994 he was Delegate for Employment-Policy, City of Offenbach. From 1995 he is Head of Department for Employment, Statistics, Social Development, and Integration-Policies, City Council Offenbach. And also from 2012 he is Managing Director of MainArbeit. Kommunales Jobcenter Offenbach, a social and employment service organisation, subsidiary of the municipality of Offenbach am Main (follow-up organisation of MainArbeit GmbH). In addition he is Member of the Committee "Social Policy, Social Protection, Social Assistance“ within the German Association for Public and Private Welfare.
