Luisa Ferrerira Malhó is graduate in Sociology from the University of ISCTE-IUL. She started her professional career working in social neighbourhoods in Lisbon, and then she assumed the General Coordination of a Social Solidarity Institution. In 2001 she took part of the Election Program Team, where she developes various functions. And in 2016 she assumed the position of Director of the same program, which is part  of the High Comissioner for Migration. Since january of this year, she has been Director of the Department of Support for the INtegration and Improvement of Diversity of this same Public Institut.
