Fablab Valencia, is a laboratory that promotes education and creativity by providing people with access to digital manufacturing tools. It is also an example of social innovation because it develops projects such as “Breakers, fabrícate un nuevo mundo” (Breakers, make yourself a new world): a training program for youth in situations of vulnerability that seeks to stimulate both the learning of digital design, prototyping and manufacturing technical skills, and other cross-cutting skills such as teamwork, skills for the presentation of ideas, among others. Thus, in a collaborative environment and with a practical methodology, young people learn to use 2D-3D design software, discover 3D scanning, laser cutting and engraving, and many other techniques.
