Esma Kučukalić

Esma Kučukalić hast a degree in Journalism and is a Doctor in Law by the University of València. She also has a Masters Degree in International and European Union Studies. She has done research on ethnicity and its consequences for the political model resulting from the Dayton Peace Treaty for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the country she came from when she arrived to València as a war refugee. Recently, Esma recently published a book named “Ciudadanía y Etnicidad en Bosnia y Herzegovina”, published by the University of València (2019). She is in charge of communication at the Mediterranean Citizen’s Assembly Foundation (MCAF). She is also a lecturer at the Master’s Degree in International Journalism (URJC) and is regular contributor in media such as Plaza Magazine and À Punt Radio – International.
